OK. At first, I thought What's the big deal? Who are these Strokes and why are women swooning over them? So. Now I know. I heard a song on the radio a while ago and I thought, The Ramones, New York Dolls, Velvet Underground, hell, even Jesus and Mary Chain redux. But I admit it was catchy and remenisc-y and thought no more of it. Then, round midnight last night, I popped in the Room on Fire CD, after receiving it in the mail from my sister. Short, sweet, been spinning it since. Oh, and that Fab guy - is rather fabulous I think!
