iGaga
I've gone gaga over the nifty Mac accessories and want every little thing to make my PowerBook sleeker, faster, better, cleaner. Granted, everything sold that has to do with Mac has a gaga pricetag, but that doesn't deter me. Take for instance the AirClick remote control. A small to price to pay for being able to turn the volume up/down, skip songs/slides/movie chapters on apps like iTunes, DVD Player, PowerPoint and Quicktime. Using an RF signal, you can acutally command from the next room over - very helpful when I can't hear the music in the bathroom and want to make it louder. Works great too when I'm watching DVDs while in bed and fall asleep at key moments in the film - I can rewind without having to reach over to the mouse or keyboard. My only gripe - no ability to scroll through DVD menus or through iTunes playlists, bah! and oh, the biggest gripe of all - there's no SHUT DOWN button. There really needs to be a computer shut down button on these things, because really, there is no point in watching a late night DVD on the laptop and waking up a few hours later having slept through the second half of the movie only to realize you havta reach over to shut off the computer. But, it's worth the money. All in the name of lethargy.
